Changes to the London Lorry Control Scheme from 1^st of January 2010!

The traffic management order that governs the London Lorry Control Scheme has now been updated by London Councils and has come into effect on the 1^st January 2010. These updates affect the Excluded Route Network (ERN) at various points across the network and should be reviewed at your earliest opportunity to avoid any penalty charges.

About the scheme

The Lorry Control Scheme takes the form of controls on the movement of any heavy goods vehicles over 18 tonnes maximum gross weight at night and at weekends. Often referred to as the Lorry Ban.
