PIE (Public Information Exchange) and GPS software developer Navevo have produced a sat nav solution for the drivers of heavy goods vehicles and vans. The system allows drivers to enter their vehicles’ including weight, height, length, width and the goods they are carrying (normal, corrosive/explosive).  The software then calculates a route to ensure drivers are not confronted with roads or obstacles not suitable for their vehicle or cargo.
